Generic <object> support was what I was looking for. There should be
some way for plugins that don't support JavaScript hooks or whose API
is unknown to still play video with mv_embed.
Is there a particular reason, aside from having custom player
controls, that mv_embed needs to use a plugin's JavaScript hooks? If
not, generic <object> support should be a given.
