MediaWiki doesn't support the described feature.

The "target" attribute on links has been deprecated by the W3C. Have
you tried it and seen whether or not the MW parser/link handler
acknowledges the attribute?

Hi,
I work with the new MediaWiki 1.5.3. Is there a possibility to create a navigation bar,
where a target of a link opens in a new window ?
Greetings
Tibor
