Hi David
Please note that JavaScript and Java are two very different things, they have
little in common but the name. Installing a new version of Java doesn't do
anything for Problems you might have with JavaScript.
For us to analyze your problem, please provide the following information:
* what is the exact error message (visible on the "error log", "javascript
console" or some such, depending on the browser).
* which browser are you using, and wich version
* which version of mediawiki are you using
* which version of categorytree are you using
* what are your settings for $wgSkinPath, $wgStylePath and $wgArticlePath

Dear All, I have recently downloaded the CetegoryTree Extension and also been
working on the show/hide buttons and capabilities documented. Whilst these
two are perfect when working correctly I have Java Issues. When trying to
expand the views in the tree view they do not expand. Also the show hide
doesn't work, content is always show which lead me to believe their is a Java
issue. I have downloaded the latest version of Java from Sun and ensured it
is enabled in the browser but still no joy? Does anyone have any pointers?
Many Thanks
David
