I discovered with some tinkering that I could play with this text in /
skins/monobook/main.css:
p {
margin: 1.0em 0em 0.5em 0em;
line-height: 1.5em;
}
I adjusted that first number to "1.0em" and the spacing changed.
Are there good reasons for doing it your way instead of modifying
main.css?

Hi all,
After looking through the manuals, and being a neophyte when it comes
to templates and CSS, I cannot figure out how to adjust the spacing
between paragraphs in my mediawiki site. Our articles tend to be
long, and I think that more space would be easier on the eye. How can
I put in more space between paragraphs?
Put in MediaWiki:Monobook.css:
p { margin-bottom: 1em; }
or something similar. Change the "1" to get different amounts of
spacing.
