Hi,
All seems well (update runs without even one warning, extensions upgraded), but the wiki shows a blank screen. The error message in the log: Class 'UtfNormal\\Validator' not found in /.../languages/Language.php on line 3040.
The line in that file is
$s = UtfNormal\Validator::cleanUp( $s );
So why is he complaining about the class (with two '\') not found when in the code it calls the class with one '\'?
Help is much appreciated.

Hi,
for some reason I've managed to get a huge wad of Spam user accounts and
I have no idea how to delete them.....
I know I can block them but is it possible to delete?
Also I have installed the BlockAndNuke extension but whenever I try to
run it (select Block Users) I get this error:
A database query error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the
software.
Could it be because there are too many and my system doesn't have the
resources to delete everything?? 8GB RAM though plenty of swap on SSD.....
Or is it because I'm using Postgresql as my DB backend?
Thanks!
Kaya
The videos of our June 9th event are now available online. Visit our wiki
main page[1] for links to the videos and presentation materials.
The agenda page also has a summary of our discussion about what
characteristics and features would make up the "perfect" KM system. I don't
think this is an exhaustive list, but it shows the most popular responses
from the day.
If you would like to partner with NASA in order to collaborate on any of
these ideas for development of an open-source MediaWiki extension, please
contact us. As discussed in the break-out session, we have many different
options available for collaborative partnerships.
We are also looking for ideas on what kind of event to host next. If you
have any ideas, please let us know. For example, we could shift the scope
from a large conference with presentations to smaller sessions where we
experiment with one or two ideas on how to improve MediaWiki. This could be
more of a working/hacking session.
One more thing - our participants engaged in a little demonstration of the
flexible power of a Semantic MediaWiki. Several people created their user
page using Semantic Forms, which set several semantic properties used to
automatically populate the People Data page[2].

Hi,
in my "private wiki" Religion-in-Japan (http://www.univie.ac.at/rel_jap/an), I am experiencing with templates that create categories which then serve to create automatic lists of illustrations. My problem is that my wiki behaves very strangely when updating the categories after a change in the template. Not only is the update very slow (a matter of days or weeks), I also get wrong updates as if I used a template version of weeks ago. As far as I know, "runJobs.php" should help here, but for whatever reason it has ceased to work. Of course, I have disabled all chaches for the time being.
The question: am I asking too much of my wiki if I constantly change categories by use of templates? And is there a way to get things right here, for instance abort all jobs? I suspect, the wiki tries to run all old jobs many of which have become obsolete and that this is the cause of my problems.
Any suggestion much appreciated
Bernhard
PS: For technical reasons I am not able to install semantic wiki and therefore use Extension:DPL (third party) for creating my lists.

I have some text on a page that looks like this:
a{{Delim}}b
If Template:Delim looks like this:
<onlyinclude>,</onlyinclude>
Then I get
a,b
But if Template:Delim looks like this:
<onlyinclude>:</onlyinclude>
Then I get
a
b
The ':' symbol is being interpreted as if it appeared at the beginning of a line, even though it does not.
The '*', '#' and ';' symbols also have this effect -- interpreted as markup rather than punctuation. On the other hand, the '|' symbol does not -- if I put "a{{Delim}}b" inside of a table, it will correctly produce "a|b" in the table cell.
Is this a bug? I've always interpreted "the start of the line" to mean "preceded by a newline" in the fully-expanded source, but maybe text appearing at the start of a template is supposed to get special treatment?
Workaround: add <nowiki/> to the start of Template:Delim.

Hallo,
ich brauche Hilfe beim Export mehrerer Wikiseiten in PDF. Ich muss ein
"Qualitäts-Handbuch" erstellen.
wegen use the server http://tools.pediapress.com/ )
Extension:OpenDocument Export (beta status)

Hi All,
Need Urgent Help.
Is there a way to have a box or flickering box on the our internal wiki
home page where we can have announcements (like any important pages which
the teams need to be aware of)
Currently, we started sample using *"Marquee" to just display a page name

Hello,
I just encountered a problem. I have created a glossary:
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Semantic_Glossary/Example#Create_a…
Unfortunately I have no lines (borders) as in a table common between the
items. What am I doing wrong? Each "command" the I type does not matter,
or an error.
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Everyone,
My MediaWiki site at:
http://wiki.tchaikovsky-research.net/wiki/Main_Page
has suddenly started Io fail in a bizarre way, i.e. sections of some page content are not displaying. Some pages are fine, others have words or sections missing, and many more (like the homepage) have no visible content. The content still exists and can be edited, but just isn't displaying.
No changes have been made to the MediaWiki set up for months, and this has only happened during the last 2 days. My hosting ISP is being unhelpful, although I suspect they may be at fault. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brett Langston
