I'm not doing development on maps, so I don't have much first hand
experience on this. Still... Our Vagrant setup [1] can most probably
be used to play around with maps. At least for the Kartographer part.
But from all I hear, that's probably not a "one click" solution. It
seems to usually involve a few more clicks, a bit of swearing and a
healthy amount of patience.
I hope that someone with more experience can give a better answer!
