Greetings all:
I'll start off by explaining that I'm attempting to "pick up the pieces" of a wiki drastically changed by my boss who has now departed the organization, so I apologize in advance if some knowledge is beyond me. I'm in the process of upgrading MediaWiki from 1.31.10 to 1.35.0 due to 1.31.x going end-of-life next year. I've successfully migrated everything, only needed to upgrade a few extensions, but one item I'm unable to figure out is the Foreground skin, which my boss used as default. I can't go back to the previous formatting without crippling the formatting, and I can't seem to get the skin to format the way it did in 1.31.x. Specifically, it seems to ignore DIV commands, and the touch-button features are no longer active, so everything just aligns on the left part of the page. Even in the preferences page of my user ID, I can't click on "appearance" or any of the other tabs. I have upgraded to the 1.35.x compatible skin, but there's obviously a configuration setting that has changed from 1.31 to 1.35 that I'm unaware of. Any advice would be appreciated. I've included code from my main page to show what formatting is being used. Again, apologies in advance if I'm missing something obvious-I am trying to "drink from the fire hose" here..

Thanks for a great MediaWiki skin.
The "MENU" text overlaps with my (too-long) site title on the iPhone 11
Pro. I would get rid of the word "MENU" by creating a
blank MediaWiki:Foreground-menutitle page.
However...
The hamburger has disappeared from my site when viewed on the iPhone 11 Pro
Max (iOS 14.1). There is a blank space and the link/dropdown still works.
I'm using MW1.34 and Foreground 2.3.0.
I would have blamed myself for experimenting with the CSS, but it's the
same on https://foreground.wikiproject.net/wiki/Main_Page so I'm not sure.
The hamburger on WikiApiary does display, though, and it works on desktop
Chrome pretending to be any mobile, including the iPhone X.
Is there anything I can change to fix this?
Thanks
Jonathan
