Hey all,
I know there are some Wikimedia DE people on this list as well as some
active German Wikipedians, so I thought I would ask...
If you look at the signup form in German (
https://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Spezial:Anmelden&type=signup)
you'll notice that the link to the username policy is very long.
This message, which you can view at
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Createacct-helpusername was
customized locally by a German admin.
I'd recommend that this message be shortened so that it doesn't overflow in
to the next line like that. The message is designed to be on the right hand
side of the label "Benutzername", and is meant to not be an entire sentence
like that. Even something as short as "Help" could work I think.
If anyone has recommendations for the easiest way to correct this, I'd
appreciate your advice very much.
