Hmm, seems I remember writing something like this to mass-create a ton
of pages in a test wiki a while ago. I'll dig up the script and see
about putting it somewhere. An import text file script could be
useful.
Meanwhile; look at, for instance; the
maintenance/InitialiseMessages.inc file. There's a chunk in this which
shows how to create/edit an article with code running from the command
line.

Hi,
I am new to MediaWiki. Don't know if anyone asked this before (I looked
into the codes and looked around for a while). This problem raises when
I want to add a bunch of articles into MediaWiki.
Suppose that I have a bunch of text files in wiki's format. How can I
add them to MediaWiki with one article for each text file. And then, how
can I edit some of those articles when their corresponding text files
are changed (I know which files are changed)? By how here, I mean what
functions should I call and under what dependencies? Also, I like to
have those article added/editted under admin/sysop authorization.
Thank your in advance for your help.
Best,
