the thumb creation is a bit curious:
The thumbnail of a 14 KB PNG file is more than twice as large as the
original image. Just have a look at it:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_II
And 36 KB only for a 180 x 112 PNG is more than strange...
