It seems quite interesting to me that this is at least the second
request we've seen with regards to Portugues do Brasil.
A while back, somebody was adding pages in "Brazilian" at br.wiki
(really for the Breton language), too.
I certainly don't think it needs a separate Wikipedia, but it's an
interesting consideration.

Brazilian Portuguese is similar to European and African Portuguese are similar, but there
is a lot of differences in writing and meaning of the words that can make the enciclopedia
articles tricky.
