I would, of course, support the idea of a Kölsch
Wikipedia, and would
point
out that there is, after all, one for plattdütsch
(sp?) as well. There
are
also quite a few books in Kölsch, as well as an
institute for learning
it. So
I see no problem there.
The difference is that Plattdüütsch is a language on its own while
Kölsch is merely a dialect. If you want one Wikipedia in a German
dialect, others will come and soon you'll have entries in Swabian,
Bavarian, Saxon, Hessisch, Ruhrdeutsch and whatnot.
I think that's a clear no here.
