[Wikipedia-l] Cebuano Wikipedia reaches 1,000th article mark!

Hi everyone.

We at the Cebuano Wikipedia community beat our
self-imposed deadline of 31 December 2005 for the
1,000th article of the Cebuano Wikipedia. See
[[ceb:Special:Statistics]].

30 December 2005, 05:10 UTC, the 1,000th article was
created (appropriately for the man who is known in the
Cebuano community as THE hero -- the one who led our
revolutionaries against the Spanish back in 1898). See
[[ceb:Leon Kilat]]. It is more of a stub than of a
"real" article, but hey, MediaWiki counted it as one
;)

Now I can go on vacation. ;)
