on a global or even a national level, but which maybe only affected a
small group of people. As long as there is some coverage in published
sources, somewhere, we could use that to make an article on the subject.
That sounds about right to me. For example, the current Mayor of
Athens, Georgia, U.S. I doubt if we have an article about that
person, but I see no reason why we shouldn't.
I'm surprised we haven't had more fights about this sort of thing, but
'verifiability' seems to do a pretty good job of weeding out the
really badly obscure.
