[Wikimediaau-l] Wikimediaau-l Digest, Vol 3, Issue 1

To everyone,

I have fallen deeply in love with Wikipedia and Wikimedia since I
discovered them a few months ago. I have been telling everyone I know
about it.

I run a general social club in Melbourne - DAAN - http://www.danwk.com -
(it is a business - about $100,000 has been invested in programming the
software and advertising etc over the five years it has been developing).
We have about 500 members and about 10 social events per week - tennis,
golf, dancing, parties, dinners, movies etc. It is a good functional
"wiki" in its own right.

BUT I believe so strongly in Wikimedia that I would like to extend FREE
membership to all contributors to Wikipedia/media who live in Melbourne.
Just give me a ring anytime on 0411 961 338 and let me know your
wikipedia/media username and your email address etc. and/or just email
them through to me at greg at appleseed.com.au

I believe vey strongly that "wikis" are going to change the world for the
better by setting up a model for online collaboration, co-operation....
and government ("ONE" DEMOCRATIC and JUST WORLD - ODJW in which "soccer
games" are going to be a substitute for warfare - shin splints being
easier to patch up than nuclear annihilation).

Cheers,
