I don't understand why collaborating on and writing a strong set of
guidelines like WP:MUSIC can't be a simple solution to problems about
webcomics, dolls, or whatever.  There may or may not be problems with AFD,
but it seems that people would rather use conflicts about (insert article
type here) as an excuse to attack AFD instead of working on what seems to me
to be a simple, much less contentious solution.
