Such deletion would clearly be against policy.  As 
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:NOR#What_counts_as_a_reputable_publication.3F 
states, "When dispute arises regarding whether a publication is 
reputable, you can attempt to get more editors involved and work toward 
a consensus."  Notice that it does not state that a single editor taking 
a hardline zero-tolerance stance can delete material simply because that 
single editor does not feel that it comes from a reputable source.
