Indeed. I realize that that policy is there, but in my opinion, this
was not a case of 'excessive personal attacks'; in fact, the attacks
were far from personal considering they were form letters. This was a
case of abusing WP:POINT. I'm most certainly not arguing against a
block, one is necessary. A block of 4 months, however, is clearly out
of line and against policy.
