One good reason is that it would be impossible to implement. Another
good reason is that it would give licence to edit warriors to fight
over the most trivial of statements.  A wiki is a work in progress; we
refine articles by adding whatever source information they need, and
we sometimes revert particularly contentious statements that haven't
yet been sourced.
