In which case I am already a fully fledgeed member of the community, but
as various people seem to think I am not a member, they must have
different criterea. Perhaps you can tell me what they are.
I am not antisocial, I just don't want to talk to some of the unpleasant people
on here.

They aren't incompatible in the real world.
Actually . . . considering that being a regular editor of Wikipedia
pretty much makes you a community member (albeit, in your case, a
cantankerous, contentious, antisocial community member), I'm inclined to
disagree with you.
