Ideally one could keep a browser tab open and occasionally reload
"recent changes linked" for the main page. This works okay, but
doesn't get everything, due (I guess) to the various front-page
template expansions.

If we maintained a wikipedia:main_page_links page (which did have all
the links) this be a boon in watching all these vandal-faves in one
go, without having to manually add them all to your watchlist.

I don't know whether this could be done just with cleverer template
use, or whether a bot would be needed (visiting the various templates
comprising the main page periodically) to build that page.
