reliable information, regardless of what Canadian media have said.
As long as people are told that the information comes from a blog I see no
problem with using it under these circumstances. The source is properly
cited, and the reader can make up his own mind about the credibility of the
source.

Actually, we do try to restrict information in articles to credible sources.
Anyone can (and millions do) put up websites with their own opinions and
beliefs, but that doesn't make them reliable, or notable, for that matter.
