I don't see why - people are authorized to edit, but they are not
authorized to vandalise.
Yeah, exactly. Just because you are allowed to walk into a restaurant,
and even eat food on their tables, doesn't mean you can bring an axe and
take the table apart.
So, just because you are allowed to edit our pages, doesn't mean you can
run a bot to vandalise them en masse.
