This has two errors. The most glaring is the claim that I'm not lazy.
I most certainly am! ;-)
But seriously, I'm not sure what "the principle of minimal
interference" is, so I'm not sure that I agree with it.
The reason that I almost never edit on the Wikipedia itself is that
since I'm called on to make tough political choices, it's best that I
not get involved in battles over particular pages.
I often dig through people's edit histories when there is a
controversy, and I try to mediate conflicts as I see them happening.
Now that the website is not so slow, I might try monitoring specific
talk pages to try to mediate conflicts before they blow into the
mailing list.
