[Wikide-l] What happens on IT.Wikipedia.org?

Hi everyone on IT and DE, 

The germans wanted to know, how the itlian Wikipedians managed to get
from 12.000 to 20.000 articles so fast.
A) Was there a lot in the press?
	I think, the Genova-meeting with Jimbo came across quite well.
B) Was there a bot running? 
	I think not, but I am not sure.
C) Or is it just natural growing (the italians are waking up ;-)
	I think/hope that it is really that!

Please add your comments/experiences so that the others also know what
is going on on it.wikipedia

PS: I saw a lot of new very good people joining, I have the feeling that
the italian Wikipedia is on the right way!
