I checked the box because I knew that it would be tough for people to

such mail into a folder which I'll rarely check.

By checking the box did I unknowingly acknowledge that I "was OK to
receive this targetted mailing"?  Who cares?  This isn't a court of
law.  I'm not trying to sue Gregory.  I'm not even suggesting that he
should be reprimanded.  And I don't think his intent was to do
something wrong.

I still found the message annoying, and I still think we should find a
way to stop others from doing the same thing.
