I agree, one or two days is not too bad for a "free" service but is it 10 or
20 days? My question was really aimed at making people look at the small
print.

So? Seriously, Google--just like any other company operated for profit--is
not a charity. If there are no explicit transaction costs, a one or two day
float doesn't sound too bad actually.
