[Foundation-l] Wikimedia Collaboration of the Week officially launched

To all Wikimedians near and far -

today is the official launch date of the first Wikimedia Collaboration 
of the Week. We will try to do something important which affects the 
success of Wikimedia and its projects every week. This week, 
participating Wikimedians join forces to build the MediaWiki handbook in 
multiple languages on Meta.

The current collaboration of the week is featured on the community 
portals or other exposed pages of the participating wikis, which at the 
present time are Wikipedias in English, German, Spanish, Sicilian, Norsk 
(nynorsk), and Chinese. If you haven't already, please promote this idea 
on your local project and add your wiki to the list:
