Of course I agree with this completely, as a matter of principle, but
I think it isn't so much NPOV that dictates this bit.  I do think we
can legitimately encourage people to use wiki hosting companies that
use MediaWiki (or at least some free software), even if this is not
NPOV.  Meta is not the encyclopedia, after all.

But obviously, recommending wikicities (which I own) preferentially,
is not something I would support.

Still, the rest of what Elian wrote I do think is a generally good
idea -- i.e., let's not just leave people hanging when some proposed
project is not consistent with our educational and NPOV mission.
