This might be a question against the spirit of wiki,

to restrict the write and *read* access to certain pages on a wiki?
By restrict I mean only the sysop can see and edit these pages.
Wrong list again; use mediawiki-l.
But the answer, as far as MediaWiki goes, is simple. "Sort of". There
are no per-page access restrictions, but using the following...
$wgWhitelistRead = array( "-", "Main Page",
"Special:Userlogin", ... );
$wgGroupPermissions["*"]["read"] = false;
...and altering the contents of the whitelist will allow you to block
reads for all anonymous users, except for the named pages.
