By way of context, I could probably save the WMF ~GBP500 (~USD 640) by
travelling from London Heathrow rather than Birmingham (my local
airport), but that would cost me an extra ~50GBP (not to mention the
hours) on land travel. I don't think it would be unreasonable to ask
for that to be reimbursed.
You will need to take that up with travel agency to see about flights. And yes we will reimburse travel to airport if you need it and it makes financial sense.
