Hoi,
There have been problems in the past with people replacing png with svg where the actual content was said to be the same but wasn't. The consequence is that the automatic replacement of any content is something that will not be trusted by many. It is a matter of trust... lack of trust based on past performance.

Posts on this subject are really confusing. what's the problem with
