I'd be happy to see the code for that.
Patrolling 15 edits after an
editor who is hit by the mysterical "No preview button" bug, can be a
chore.
You mean 15 edits to the same article?
You do know that you can view diffs between revisions that are several
edits apart, right?
Sure, but can I patrol them?
Clearly more enhancements to the patrolling feature are needed :-)
Maybe the whole system should be rethought. How about:
- instead of flagging each and every revision as "patrolled", maybe each
article should only have one attribute, "latest patrolled revision"
- then we need a feature to easily access the diff between the last
patrolled revision and current
- then marking this as patrolled simply sets the "latest patrolled
revision" to the current one.
- (For database efficiency, one might additionally add a boolean flag
that states whether the "latest patrolled revision" is the current
one. That would make it easier to find unpatrolled edits.)
