http://www.omniglot.com/writing/lontara.htm doesn't show a virama
character (vowelless diacritic). Additionally, books I have about
Lontara do not mention it.
Can you send some more information about it somewhere?
As for typing in Lontara, please download

(right-click and click "save target as...")
Then rename to "layout02.zip".
Then, unzip. Click "buginese.msi". This will install the Lontara
typing. When it is done, click start -> control panel -> regional and
language options.
Click the "languages" tab. Under "text services and input languages",
click "details...".
Then click "add", select "Bulgarian" (there is no "Bugis",
but
"Bulgarian" uses code BG),
Under "keyboard layout/ime" Bulgarian will be selected but click and
scroll to "bugis". Then click OK.
After that click "language bar", then check the box next to "show the
language bar on the desktop". Click OK, and then click OK again.
Then there will be a little bar on the taskbar with a blue button
which says EN (or MS or ID, or whatever language you use by default).
Click on it, and choose "bulgarian". Then, anything you type should
show Bugis letters.
The keyboard is the same as the one of the other Bugis font you used,
except z and x are punctuation ("end of section", and symbol used to
show a repeated word).
