We could add a "link=article title" parameter to the image syntax, so
clicking the image links to [[article title]], *but* with a little note
below the article heading, similar to the REDIRECT thing; like "see the
image description page [[here|image:xyz.jpg]]".
Hm, that's an interesting suggestion... "Note: The image you clicked
to reach this page was [[Image:$1]]" Of course, it wouldn't work for
linking an image to an external (or interwiki) target, or linking to
nowhere (see the bug for why this might be desirable), but it's an
interesting option; I'll add it to the bug discussion for future
reference...
