It seems that phpMyAdmin is a preferred MySQL GUI but
the reason why I did not want to use it is because I
am not sure if it is easy to export and import data to
other files (i.e.: txt, excel). With Navicat you can
perform that task very easily but I was hoping to see
if there was another GUI better than that one.
I will give phpMyAdmin a try during the weekend and
see what it has to offer.

install... just untar the directory and move it into
your document
root somewhere. You'll need to edit the
config.inc.php file to
reflect your login information, but other than that
there's nothing to
it!
It even generates PHP code for you to stick into
your scripts, if
you're too lazy / don't know mysql+PHP.
