I'll second that. phpmyadmin is a terrific tool, and easy to use.
I'll.. umm.. third that? phpmyadmin is ridiculously simple to
install... just untar the directory and move it into your document
root somewhere. You'll need to edit the config.inc.php file to
reflect your login information, but other than that there's nothing to
it!
It even generates PHP code for you to stick into your scripts, if
you're too lazy / don't know mysql+PHP.
