I believe BIND is supposed to have support for topology-based answers
to queries, but I'm not sure how well it works (I switched over to
djbdns some time ago... and djbdns definitely doesn't support such
fancy features).
Normally it would be a pain to (efficiently) determine location based
on IP, but since the distinction between ARIN and RIPE addresses
should be easier to determine, it might be possible to set up such
mappings.
I'll look into this some and report back on it.
