Hi,
I saw something in mysql manual about table size. Mysql can handle a table
of 8 To,
but on 64 bits systems. On 32bits it seem it can only use 4Go
tables.
And i know that old_table from english wikipedia is
1,5Go with bzip2.
Maybe we could think about 64 bit processors for our new server ?

Old is 10GB uncompressed, so I gather we've dealt with that problem already.
According to this:
http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Table_size.html
...linux can handle >4GB files if you have the right version. Which we
obviously do.
