[Wikipedia-l] Portal namespace

Could a new namespace in Wikipedia be created for thematic portals
(e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikiportal )? IMHO they
don't really belong in the Wikipedia namespace (like in en: and fr:)
nor to the main one (like in de: or pl:).
