I had also checked news.google.com, slashdot, bbc, cnn bevore, but no results. 
IMHO it was not another good PR - just a netork traffic jam. See
wikimedia.org/stats/live there was -50% reqests over some minutes bevore. So 
every wikipedian tried to get a page for several times later. Must be a self 
produced peak.

PR Peaks would have no brake down (-50%) before ;)

Sorry to have been to euphoric, but it was fun to see Wikipedia on one major 
news-TV-show yesterday in Germany - watch the screenshot on:
