Lars-
Erik, that is not "by some", but "by
many". You fail to apply a
quantitative analysis to this case. It's the criticism against her
that is in small minority. Only "some" consider that to be relevant.
I doubt that you have done a headcount, but it does not matter. The
criticism is held by reasonable people, published in mainstream sources,
logical and clear. That is reason enough to include it.
There is a billion people in India and *three* have
become world
famous, in this order: 1) Gandhi, 2) Mother Teresa, 3) Indira Gandhi.
Certainly, and many people in India despise 2). As Aroup Chatterjee
explains, they consider the myth of the European woman who teaches the
ignorant Indian natives how to care for each other a quite racist one,
especially when the gulf between what MT claimed she had done and what she
really did was so large.
Of all fights and causes, its obvious that you've
decided to spend
your energy on this one. Mother Teresa must really have hurt you.
Yet more personal attacks. I guess that's all OK when dealing with such a
saintly, wonderful person.
Regards,
Erik
