[Wikipedia-l] Please change the embarrassing donations message and Re: The donation text

It seems when I log on there is still the same
donation text:

"We are trying to make Wikipedia faster and more responsive. You can help by
making a donation. "

There seemed to be general consensus that it should
be changed with some suggestions from me from
keeping it from appearing like an outright solicitation.

Is there a final proposal?
