[Wikipedia-l] Page moving & redirects

When moving a page, would it be feasible for the system to also update 
redirects to point to the new page?
-- or is there possibility of accidental mangling, therefore best left 
to human hands?

it wouldn't fix existing double-redirects, but it would rpevent the 
creation of new ones.

(I'm still planning on doing some work on the Orders of Magnitude 
chains, but I'm dreading the redirects...)
