On every article I've looked at on the English
Wikipedia, there is now NO link to the Talk page of
articles. I'm using the standard skin. Please fix
this SOON!
I'm very excited that Wikipedia is back. I haven't been able to edit for
about a month, and a lot's been going on in the world...
Other things:
1) At some point links to nonexistent pages were changed from
[New Page]<a
href="http://www.wikipedia.com/wiki/New_Page&action=edit">…
to
[<a
href="http://www.wikipedia.com/wiki/New_Page&action=edit">…
Page</a>]<a
href="http://www.wikipedia.com/wiki/New_Page&action=edit">…
Please change it back. It's much harder to differentiate nonexistent pages
now.
2) Please change the daily date link that's on every page. The current
implementation is a lot more crippled than (and redundant to) the Current
Events page.
Ways to change:
a) simply drop the link. Featuritis can be cured.
b) change the link to point to Current Events, while keeping the date
c) change the link to Current Events, with that name
d) implement complex templating/reference system that makes individual date
pages a useful resource
I recommend a) or b).
Or just give me trunk access and I'll implement the changes myself, since
the above changes were added without any discussion.
