For varius reasons having to do primarily with the independence of
Wikipedia, I'm very uncomfortable with accepting government funding.
I am not saying that I would never do it, but in essence, I think that
such funding is morally suspect. We are a *voluntary* effort, and
money from governments is stolen money, taken from people by force.
This is contrary to my personal philosophy.

*nod* I understand. I think that none of us have those kinds of
opinions, or if we do they are only vague and general, stemming from
the overall world situation or whatever. I think it's wise for us to
consider the opinions of the general French public, though, and if it
matters, we should address it in a thoughtful manner.
