That seems to be not quite the key point. As far as I can see, the issue with A7 here is that those with a deletionist tendency probably also read 'assertion of notability' in their own way. Because 'notability' is a vexed issue. [[Matt Long]] was later restored, but was speedied with 50 edits and an IMDB page link with 'only' three film roles and an American TV series. The admin in question was not applying A7 properly, but applying summary justice (one-vote AfD).
