Well, maybe it would make sense to mark nonfree images in the article
somehow. A red border, perhaps.
I've had the same thought, but there are lots of unreplaceable nonfree
images. I'm sure the art types would be freaked out if paintings by
recent artists all had red borders around them - especially for some
modern works where it might not be clear whether the red border was part
of the painting or not. :-)
*cough* <blink> tags around a giant red "PLEASE FIND A FREE REPLACEMENT"
are the only way to do it.
