The problem is that as far as I'm aware there is no single consensual
process for deciding to move to wiktionary.  The items in that category
are just those that someone or other has edited to add the mtw template.
So we can't just delete the item there and then, unless the move to
wiktionary was decided as a result of discussion on WP:RM, WP:VFD or
WP:CSD.
