Ooh! If Wikipedia decides as a community it will not display explicit photos
of sexual acts, then I won't stop editing, but I'm afraid I'll have to stop
recommending it to most of the people I currently recommend it to.

Pretty soon, no matter what we do, *noone* is going to recommend Wikipedia.

Pretty much all we have to do for filtering is to take advantage of the
categorization schema. This does not need to be a big deal.
